Pitahaya Farming for over a decade.

Our Story
Palora Gold Pitahaya was founded in 2011, driven by a dream to share the natural treasures of the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest with the world — most notably, the extraordinary Palora pitahaya. This vibrant fruit, celebrated for its intense flavor and striking color, flourishes in the fertile soils surrounding the majestic Sangay volcano. Its unique qualities inspired the name Palora Gold, reflecting its status as a true treasure of the rainforest.
In 2012, we began our journey with just 200 plants, generously entrusted to us by members of the local community. Motivated by the remarkable results and supported by the dedication of hardworking villagers, we embarked on a path of growth and expansion.
Today, Palora Gold Pitahaya is proud to cultivate over 12,000 plants, meticulously cared for by skilled local artisans. This growth not only provides sustainable employment opportunities for the community but also allows us to deliver our premium-quality pitahaya to people across multiple continents, enriching diets and delighting taste buds worldwide.
